Orange Innovation are involved in various European and French collaborative projects.
The RISQ Grand Digital Challenge aims to make France a major international player in the post-quantum transition. RISQ will strengthen the presence of the French digital security sector within standardisation bodies by bringing together national players (large industrial groups, SMEs/mid-cap companies, state service, academic laboratories) – whose skills are internationally recognized – to coordinate their actions in proposing standards and evaluating applications. In interaction with this process, the project defines a roadmap for the commercialization of post-quantum security product lines - software and hardware cryptographic calculation libraries, archiving servers, timestamps – ranging from the design of theoretical bricks by partner laboratories to the development of demonstrators and their validation. The presence of large groups within the consortium ensures that the solutions developed can be adapted to the systems currently deployed.
